So it began……

We Were Healthy Without Even Trying… What Changed?

I grew up in a typical middle-class home—Mom handled the house, Dad worked hard, and life just… flowed. As kids, we had everything we needed. Health wasn’t a debate; it was baked into daily life.

You ate what Mom cooked (no questions asked). Medicine was whatever she gave you (no Googling side effects). Sweets were for Saturdays, takeaways were a big monthly treat, and movement wasn’t a chore—it was just living. Walking everywhere, cycling to school, playing outside until sunset. Simple.

Fast-forward to today: We’ve got more gyms, more “superfoods,” more wellness advice than ever… yet we’re unhealthier. Convenience, screens, and instant gratification replaced the effortless health we never had to think about.

So I’m curious—

  • Did you grow up like this too?
  • What’s one “unintentional” habit from your childhood that kept you healthy?
  • And how do you now balance modern life with that old-school simplicity?

Maybe the answers are simpler than we think. Let’s chat! 👇
